"Surfing the Canal"  Cruise, April 2010!

Day 12 - Huatulco, Mexico

A serious "Dawn Patrol" member on the move!

The photo above is 6:15 am, now there's some serious dawn patrol action here in Huatulco, Mexico! 7:45, the "break", about 8:30 we're heading out to enjoy this beach break. Wasn't the best of swell but when it came through it was good. I had the pleasure of a really good right ride  and then the experience of "over the falls" all in all, I was wearing a BIG SMILE by noon!

Adam's hang-out, truly a relaxing spot. Not a lot of hype, but plenty of enjoying a good surf and telling a few stories over a late breakfast and a few cups of coffee!

"Sta Clara"

This was a real nice restaurant where we  were just chilling with a nice cold beer and a bottle of good old water!

Very nice breeze in this open air and thatched roof restaurant, nice and quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the "tourist zone"!

The Marina at Santa Cruz and the nice and clean shopping area, right off the pier. Restaurants, a nice beach and not a bad group of merchants.

Leave the shopping square, walk a 100 years and here you are dock side....

....where my taxi to Acapulco sits!  Huatulco is a very nice port, clean & friendly, thank you I'll be back!

After a nice morning session, a little business, a nice cold one and a little shopping it was back to the ship, just in time for a little "Fish & Chips"!
