Adventures in Paradise - Panama Canal, Hot Fun in the Sun!

"Surfing the Canal"  Cruise, April 2010!

Day 13 - Acapulco Mexico!

Arriving into the bay in Acapulco in the early hours above, peaceful & quiet as most guest are resting their bones! For me, an nice early breakfast and preparation to head out to the beach at "The Fairmont Pierre Marques".

Here's the beach break at "Playa Revolcadero" that most of the "locals" were on, nice right-hander for those that have a nice board and knew the wave. This guy was closer to where I surfed in front of hotel just because we all alone!

"The Fairmont Pierre Marques", a real nice hotel with GREAT help. I tried for weeks to put together this stop with very little response from the local "surf shop", but I did have luck with the hotel's "concierge" Hector Anica who was a big help,

Muchas gracias mi amigo!

After a fun morning session at the Fairmont Pierre Marques it was back to the ship, anyone for a "cold one", or two, conveniently located "dockside"!

Yes, the sun was shining again, beautiful weather & not a bad view in the house! The buildings in the background make up the Acapulco most are familiar with.

After the fun in the sun and the sail-a-way party on the outside decks it was time for a little "R& R" with my new friends, seen here with one of my many favorite Celebrity Cruises personnel. I called Victoria by name "Auto", comes from her automatic smile! The staff onboard are awesome and they work real hard everyday of the week to make sure you enjoy your time onboard, yes smiles are everywhere!

Hope to see you again soon my friends!
