Adventures in Paradise - Panama Canal, Hot Fun in the Sun!

"Surfing the Canal"  Cruise, April 2010!

Day 14 - Day at Sea #6

Believe or not, this is a sunrise over Mexico, look at the size of the sun!

When you get up nice and early you get to see the sunrise, have very little competition for the "Buffet Line" for breakfast and you can lay claim to the best seats on the pool deck, more reasons why I LOVE the mornings onboard a ship!

Days at sea towards the end of the cruise means "busy time" for this old guy, but it's never too busy for me to enjoy the festivities of "Baked Alaska" formal night!

Dinner with my best friend onboard, and YES the best waiter on the ship, Juan Carlos Venegas, I liked to call him "Vene"! We sat on the top deck, which I like for many reasons and one of them if the view over the deck below. Lots of singing and the parade goes on for 4-5 minutes, then it's time to enjoy the "Baked Alaska" desert.

After a great "Surf & Turf" dinner and all dressed up, it was time for a show! These shows are usually very good and tonight's was no exception. As it turns out this cast was performing their final show for their current contract and I was amazed at the energy level they still had after 4 months onboard!

Here's the troops and the "Boss man", Mr. Cruise Director, during their farewell

What a great way to spend a day, a morning sunrise, a little work, a great dinner and a very entertaining live show, oh what a life!
