"Surfing the Canal"  Cruise, April 2010!

Day 15 - Cabo San Lucas!

One of my "abstract shots", Cabo San Lucas on the left at 6:30 am, still DARK!

Now this is just a good old shot of Lover's Beach, love this spot! If you look close you can see the little white specks, those are just a few of the many fishing boats headed out for the day, fishing is way bigger than surfing here in Cabo!

What, another Sunrise?

Yes sir, I love my sunrises! I was up and gone on the first tender to the dock to meet up with my ride for the day. Remember, making friends along the way is a great way to enjoy the day on your next trip so keep them happy! It was real nice to have a ride to the beach, and to think they met me at 7:30 in the morning! Thank You My Friends!

Not a bad imagine here on your left if I say so myself. This is a nice spot just off the main road heading south/east of Cabo. They offer nice board rentals, a restaurant and is very convenient to the beach, but along with that is it does tend to get a little crowded. All said and done though it is still one of my favorite stops as this wave is prefect for the longboarding "Old Guys", no wonder they call it....

...... "Old Man's", Cabo style, not SC's

Another shot of the "reef break" at "Old Man's". The best part of this break for me is it is easy to paddle out and once you catch your own wave it a nice long ride. I spent almost 4 hours in the water and as it turns out it was one of my better session of this trip, even if it was only about 10 rides! You can thank all the "Surf Classes" they dump on this wave for that, but hey, we all had to start somewhere!

Now for the "Party Animals" here's your stop, "Senior Frogs"! Yes they are everywhere in Mexico, imagine that, and here it is about 100 yards away form the secured entrance to the tender boat dock, where you come & go from the ship.

The marina at Cabo San Lucas is pretty nice, new and lots going on. You catch most of the excursions from here as well as just hiring a glass bottom boat for a ride to Lover's Beach and the famed "Arch". Well, back to work for me!
